Attorney Edwards is also experienced in domestic/family law, child support and abuse, neglect, and dependency matters. Originally from Sanford, North Carolina, Attorney Edwards relocated to Fayetteville to better serve the legal needs of his community. A 2001 graduate of East Carolina University, Attorney Edwards is an avid Pirates fan and regularly attends ECU sports in his spare time. He is also very active with the alumni association of his law school alma mater, North Carolina Central University. Raised in Raeford, NC, Attorney Blue returned to his hometown after attending East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, MI. Now that he is back home, Attorney Blue reunites with his family, friends, and classmates and continues to be involved in his church and community. Michael Simmons is a lifelong resident of Cumberland County, North Carolina and focuses his practice in domestic/family law to include domestic violence, child custody and support.

Attorney Simmons is a former Cumberland County Department of Social Services attorney and is highly experienced in matters involving alleged abused, neglected and dependent children and termination of parental rights.

R. Andrew Porter practices criminal, traffic, domestic/family and abuse, neglect, and dependency law.

Attorney Porter is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and has been active in the community for decades.

He volunteers as the Chair of the Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee, annually for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice as a Mock Trial Juror, on the FTCC Paralegal Advisory Committee, and as Secretary/Treasurer of the Golden Assistance Program.

He also cooks and serves free food every New Year’s Day at the Black-Eyed Pea Dinner for 3,000 guests at the Crown Expo Center.

Attorney Porter graduated cum laude from the North of Law Central School of Law with a Juris Doctor, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, and Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies.

Prior to practicing law, Attorney Porter ran political campaigns for local legislators, judges, and many other candidates for office.

Attorney Hill is a Marietta, Georgia native who recently relocated to eastern North Carolina after practicing for 4 ½ years in Asheville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Attorney Hill has spent her career focusing her practice on state and federal criminal law, contested family law issues, and personal injury litigation.

Attorney Hill enjoys finding subtle nuances in the law. As a former Division I athlete, Attorney Hill has transferred the skills and discipline she learned in the weight room and the field into the courtroom. Attorney Hill takes a detail-oriented approach on each case working diligently to find nuances to use to the individual client’s advantage.  

Attorney Hill is licensed in North Carolina and the Western and Eastern District of North Carolina Federal Courts. Attorney Hill is a proud member of the largest African-American Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

When she is not practicing law, Attorney Hill enjoys spending time with her three-year-old son, Channing.
